Artists of Rico

A team of dedicated and engaged artists, working together to form a more united artisan community. The mission of Artists of Rico, Colorado (ARC) is to provide an exchange of ideas and nurture a sense of community among the area’s talented artists and craftspeople.

School Realignment 

Rico School Detachment & Annexation Organizing Committee completed planning and community outreach tasks in August 2023, and dissolved to promote a November ballot proposal to transfer Rico from Dolores County School District to Telluride School District. Visit Yes on 4B & 5A for Rico's School Kid's to learn about the proposal.

Mission statement: "To steward the local and regional trail systems in and around Rico, Colorado, focusing on user education and the access, development, and use of non-motorized trails."
